Global Pathways Program Launches October 31
FREE Program for Rensselaer County high school juniors and seniors
The International Center of the Capital Region (ICCR) is launching the Global Pathways Program on Saturday, October 31, in partnership with Emma Willard School.
This unique program offers Rensselaer County high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to explore diplomacy, international affairs, and global leadership through interactive learning, simulations, and guest speakers.
This free pilot program will bring students together to build their understanding of international relations, consider global challenges, and develop skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Through hands-on activities, students will gain insight into how diplomacy works and how they can contribute to an increasingly interconnected world.
Applications are due Saturday, October 24. Students who apply by the deadline and attend the first program session on October 31 will receive a complimentary Global Pathways tote bag.
The Global Pathways Program is made possible through the support of the Rubin Community Fellows Program, with Emma Willard School serving as ICCR’s educational partner and host site.
ICCR is pleased to expand opportunities for young people in the Capital Region to learn about diplomacy and global engagement, connect classroom learning with real-world issues, and discover pathways to becoming informed and engaged global citizens.
