Council for International Visitors

CIVs represent a wide range of not-for-profit institutions and associations, from universities to all volunteer organizations, that design and implement the professional programs and provide the cultural activities and home hospitality opportunities for international visitors.

National Council for International Visitors

The National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) is a nonpolitical, nonpartisan, nonprofit umbrella organization established in 1961 to promote excellence in citizen diplomacy. NCIV provides support, guidance and advocacy to individuals, program agencies and 93 community organizations or Councils for International Visitors, (CIV), such as the ICCR, throughout the United States.

International Visitors Leadership Program.

More than 200 current and former Heads of State, 1500 cabinet-level ministers, and many other distinguished world leaders in government and the private sector have participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program since its inception.  In 2004 over 4500 international visitors participated in the International Leadership Program exchange.
