On Tuesday, April 17th, the International Center of the Capital Region will be sponsoring a one-day outing to NYC emphasizing Irish heritage.  In the morning, participants will have the opportunity to meet the Deputy Consul General of Ireland at the Irish Consulate, followed by a visit to the Irish Hunger Memorial (a garden monument to the Irish Famine – a beautiful example of outdoor NYC art). In the afternoon, the group will be taking the ferry to tour the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island .

The bus will be leaving from Albany at 7:00 am and returning at approximately 9:00 PM . The cost for the outing is $84 for ICCR members and $89 for not-yet-members, and includes transportation, snacks on the bus, and ferry fees. Space is limited.
