From Lost Boy to Research Fellow: An ICCR Community Conversation, Seeing the World in the Capital Region When:

International Center of the Capital Region "welcomes the world to the Capital Region" through the International Visitor Leadership Program. In our
monthly ICCR Community Conversations, we meet informally to talk about IVLP delegations, encourage volunteer support, and to learn about each other,
"Seeing the World in the Capital Region."
On May 11, Chol-Awan Majok, a remarkable young Research Fellow at the Center for International
Development, will share his journey from Lost Boy in Sudan to Syracuse University graduate and volunteer in the African Students Union, the Sudanese People's
Liberation Movement, and the Lost Boys Foundation, which helped to raise funding for educational needs for post-conflict Sudanese survivors. We are fortunate
in having this young man generously share his story and look forward to the conversation. Past Events 2009 - 2010
